Public Health Focus/Interests:
Dr. Marchese was an applied epidemiology fellow at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, where she worked in the Division of Environmental Health. While there, Michelle studied the effects of the statewide indoor smoking ban on asthma, heart attack and stroke. Currently, Michelle is working in the health insurance field, were she uses medical claims-based data to create health insights and develop programs that deliver better quality health care.
