Public Health Focus/Interests:

Instructor Frazier is interested in understanding the causes and consequences of health disparities and developing culturally appropriate ways to provide health education. Theoretically, her approach involves an ecological framework that takes into account the intersection of various health determinants and their effects on health, specifically race, class, gender, and culture to name a few. With the increase in life expectancy, she seeks understand the role of social capital and social networks on the health of older adults.
