Few people with diabetes ever have diabetes alone. John Clements, assistant professor in MSU’s online Master of Public Health program, is turning to public health science to address diabetes outcome disparities for the elderly.

Mona Hanna-Attisha, Flint whistleblower, receives the inaugural Vilcek and Arnold P. Gold foundations Humanism in Healthcare Award for immigrant healthcare leaders. The award will be presented at the AAMC Annual Meeting in November 2019.

Ghana: Study Abroad Experience

Connie Currier brings 25 years of cross-cultural experience to the Master of Public Health. She spent two years in Africa as a Population Fellow with the Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council.
